An Afternoon at the Museum

I’ve been wanting to go to this museum after seeing one of Lissa Kahayon’s posts on Instagram a couple of months ago (and yeah, it really took me months before I got to visit this place).☻ She was sitting on a Greece-like stairs, and it was lovely.

So, I Google-d Pinto Art Museum (which is in Antipolo by the way), took mum with me and asked her to shoot me some photos.☻

Since it was my first time going there, I didn’t expect it to be a sweltering afternoon inside the museum. The place doesn’t have AC and they only use electric fans there. I was sweating profusely since I decided to wear this long-sleeved bodycon dress. So, just a heads up if you’re planning to visit the place – wear something airy and light.

There are six galleries in this museum, but I’d rather not talk about the place too much right now ‘coz I’m planning to revisit it soon (I’ll reserve it for my next Pinto visit, hehe.). ‘Coz yes, the museum has so many places to shoot and I know I’m still missing half of them.

So here, sharing with you some of the photos I got from the museum.

Time to be a Mermaid

The heat is on and summer is finally here!♥ I decided to spend my first summer trip in Zambales – with a friend who understands my love for photographs. LOL

We went to Liwliwa in San Felipe, Zambales. It was actually my first time there and I’m glad I visited the place.♥

The weather was lovely and the place is just right for a newborn mermaid, like me.☻ Why newborn? I was never a beach person. I rarely go to the beach as I hate sand and I hate the sun. I’m not comfortable wearing swimsuits and mom doesn’t like them on me. Haha. But people change and so do I. (Sorry, mom… But I love you!)

I’ve been to just a few beaches, but Zamba is my fave so far (I’m still waiting and looking forward to an El Nido get away hopefully this year, please, please, please!). I love it here as the seashore is wide and the place is not crowded. (Sorry for the images’ resolution below. Device-error. Haha.)

I just love this hanging chair. We took a lot of photos here. LOL

I call them “Flags of Summer”.

Sun on my skin? I can handle it. Just make sure to put some sunscreens on before hitting the beach. You don’t want to get those unwanted tan lines all over your body.

And don’t forget these things before going on a beach trip: Sunscreen. This is a must! Be generous on your skin when applying though. Sunscreen Lip Balm. Protect your lips as well! Sunglasses. You don’t want to ruin your summer photos seeing your eyebrows puckered because of the heat. Of course your cute swimsuits (Yes, swimsuits. The more the merrier!). And a Cover Up if you feel wearing one.

Photo creds to my ever supportive friend, Jaff! I’m looking forward to spending another summer vacay with you!♥

And I’ve actually found another beach destination for my next summer trip. Hope work can adjust! Haha. See you on my next blog post!

Love Day

I recall reading a tweet about a viral fast food TVC. The tweet goes something like, “The TVC reminds us that February isn’t only for the couples in love, but also for the people who chose to love in silence.” Aww…♥ Just sharing with you guys.

Anyway this Valentine, I’m wearing a shade lighter than red (which I prefer ‘coz I don’t really wear red). This is a casual look if you’re going on a date with mom or, with your girlfriends.☻

But if you’re going on a romantic date with someone, go get a dressy one.

Nothing Else Matters

Going to the mall or to the park in this capricious weather? Here’s a good suggestion.☻

A cute pullover from Just G says, “Nothing Else Matters… Just you!” Aww…♥

Leathers don’t get wet easily. It also keeps you feeling warm when it’s cold outside. Perfect for this unpredictable weather! Leather shorts/skirt from Genevieve Gozum.

You don’t want those cute toes to get wet when the rain pours, do you? Keep them high and keep them dry in these rattlesnake platform sneakers. Something Borrowed platform sneakers from Zalora.

Fitspire (Part I)

Sharing with you guys a sporty OOTD…

We had this super cool jacket customized (I just can’t remember where…)!

And I just love this Sony Walkman logo behind me.♥

Sports shorts from Body Music.

Shoes from Nike.

That face… LOL. (Excuse my warla-face here.☻)

I really miss jogging and playing badminton with my friends (from Sony). I remember, we used to request for the earliest shift we can get so that we can also log out early. Then off we go to the nearest park or sports complex to do our morning jog and play badminton. Hayy… Those were the days.♥

Anyway, I’ll be posting some photos we had on my next blog post!

Photo creds to Jayson Bryan C. Millo for this blog post. Thanks big time!☻

How about you? Are you also a sporty-type of gal?

El Amarillo Kamiseta

“Amarillo” is the Spanish term for “yellow”, while “Kamiseta” is the Tagalog term for “shirt” or “top” (Sorry, I just feel like combining them. Haha.). Feeling clever. LOL.

Speaking of “Kamiseta”, the chic “top” I’m wearing here is from a known clothing and apparel company here in the Philippines. Wanna know the name? Scroll down button please.☻

As a style blogger, I can say that their clothes are really classy and stylish – perfect for fashionistas and stylistas out there…

I like the ruffles at the bust area. They draw attention to your bust and create the illusion of fullness.

Top from, tada! Kamiseta.☻ Casual, yet classy.

Leather shorts from Genevieve Gozum.

And to complete the happy amarillo aura, I matched it with my mustard-ish peep-toe shoes.

Shoes from Greenhills.

Check out Zalora and find amazing selection of stylish shoes and high heels!

Necklace from Silverworks. I actually got this as a Christmas present from my brother.☻

Watch from Valentino.

Ring from my Mom. I just don’t know where she got this adorbs.

I’m into clothing business right now by the way. So, if you want to get this top, just feel free to comment below.

New Beginnings

It’s a new year, a new beginning, and another chapter in our lives!

I got sick during the last few hours of 2014 (until today actually). However, I was still able to welcome 2015 with all smiles and with this exultant OOTD!

Tank top from H&M.

Floral skirt from Kirei.

Gamuza shoes from Greenhills. Ring from Girl Shoppe.

Watch from Valentino.

But my fave accessory here is this lovely necklace I got from my Aunt Gee. This type of necklace is perfect for open and exposed necklines, like this tank top. I wore a plain tank here to highlight the necklace as well as the floral skirt. Balancing, it is…☻

Let us all welcome 2015 with a positive and happy soul. Let’s thank God for all the blessings we had in 2014 and may we have more blessings to come this year. Cheers to that!

Have a prosperous new year everyone!

Have you listed your New Year’s Resolutions yet?☻

One Fine Sunday Mornin’

Here’s a comfortable, casual, and classy OOTD you may want to wear on one fine Sunday morning walk.

H&M just recently opened its very first store in the Philippines. And as a fashion-lover/style blogger, I was crazy excited to visit and explore the store’s treasures.☻ Anyway, here are the garbs I got from the store.

This kind of comfy sweater can be worn alone. Wear it over a top or undershirt during the cold weather.

Sweater and sweat shorts from H&M.

Satchel bag from SM Accessories.

Loafers from Parisian.

Hat from SM Accessories.

Glasses from EO.

Dog tag from Phil Dogtags.

Sporty Gallant Watch from Tomato.

Ring from Girl Shoppe.

I was really excited to blog again. I missed doing outfit shoots, browsing hundreds and hundreds of photos (LOL), and writing drafts for my blog. But hopefully, I can balance everything now.

By the way, how do you like my new red hair? LOL.

Credit to my brother, Jayson Bryan C. Millo for the photos. Thank you!☻
